This is a special 1959 Volkswagen Beetle build. The original Beetle has a loyal and enthusiastic community who are passionate about restoring and modifying it to its old days glory. Fun fact that some say the root of the modern day Porsche 911 can be traced back to when the Beetle was created by Ferdinand Porsche. With a horizontally opposed, air-cooled flat four-cylinder engine positioned behind the rear axel (like a 911), the Beetle was putting out 36 horse power at the time. The owner IG@antbebuggin took 7 months to complete the build. It was a labor of love which he stripped the car down to parts, refinished, and reassembled the car back together. With the support from his father and friends, he accomplished a full body restoration and lower the car to the ground (and it is static). It required a lot of extra fabrication work to allow for the lowest possible ride height, while still being fully functional. The full restoration started with the wheels. with the help from JC Custom Forged, his vision was brought to life. Please enjoy the photos of this absolute art piece.
Outlined below is the typical process of a Bespoke Forged project. We may request additional measurements and information throughout the process to ensure proper fitment and optimal design.
You bring your concept forward to our team, and work together in building a fully fleshed out model of your idea.
The designers optimize the wheel design and run them through rigorous tests and simulations to exceed applicable safety standards.
The finalized blueprints are approved by you before they are sent to our manufacturer for production!
